Our Team
Kelvin Taylor
Kelvin launched Taylored Analytics in 2007. In that role and previous roles, Kelvin has brought his extensive marketing experience and industry knowledge to Fortune 500 clients in the retail, restaurant, financial services, utility, and telecommunications industries. He has been a frequently requested speaker and participant in marketing and trade conferences sponsored by The Direct Marketing Association, the National Center for Database Marketing, and the Institute for International Research among many others.
Kelvin has built & led business intelligence teams specializing in the systematic process of increasing customer lifetime value through database design, lifestyle/behavioural segmentation, and statistical modelling. Kelvin’s specific area of expertise centres on the application of statistical analysis to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of business-related decisions.
Kelvin has equal interests in the management and creation of analytics as well as in the management and creation of the business and organizational processes required to make analytic insights a continual and disciplined part of the decision-making process. Ensuring that companies effectively translate their financial goals into well-informed business strategies and tactics is what he is most passionate about. Kelvin earned a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics from Morehouse College with an additional three years of Economics studies at University of Maryland College Park specializing in Econometrics and Game Theory.
After graduate school, Kelvin worked as an Actuary for various consulting companies as well as the Department of Labor in Washington D.C. Previously, Kelvin has held general management positions in the customer loyalty space serving as CEO & President of Maritz Loyalty Marketing and as President of Frequency Marketing, Inc. Kelvin & Tammy (his better half, wife and business partner) sold Taylored Analytics to Midwest BankCentre in 2020 where Kelvin continued to run the analytics consultancy and served as CIO for the bank. In 2024, Kelvin reacquired Taylored Analytics from Midwest BankCentre to focus on expanding his business in data analytics field.
Leonard Murray
Leonard Murray has over 30 years of real estate, consulting, global asset management and investment banking experience, including roles with Merrill Lynch & Co.’s corporate finance/investment banking division where he executed over $2 billion in equity and debt real estate transactions and Alliance Capital Management International (Alliance Bernstein) business development division where he established investment funds in multiple international markets and negotiated joint ventures partnerships for Alliance in Egypt and South Africa.
Leonard Murray is Managing Partner and co-founder of Zion Consulting Group, a real estate and business development advisory firm serving non-profits, faith-based institutions, government entities and corporations. Zion advises placed-based community organizations on the development and execution of real estate strategies. Zion also advises and partners with faith-based institutions to maximize the value of their real estate assets. Zion has advised clients throughout the United States for over 20 years.
Leonard was the founding Board Chair of the Grove Park Foundation (GPF) which is helping to quarterback the transformation of the Bankhead community in Atlanta. GPF has assisted in building a KIPP managed school, 110 units of affordable housing, and currently controls over 40 properties to mitigate displacement in the neighborhood. Leonard currently serves as the Senior Real Estate Consultant for the Grove Park Foundation and the East Lake Foundation which are both Purpose Built Communities, developing affordable housing.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Youthbuild Newark a non-profit, which helps high school dropouts complete their education while providing training in the construction field; Former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Healthcare Foundation of the Orange’s which was created to address the healthcare needs of East Orange and Newark, New Jersey after the sale of East Orange General Hospital, a 325-bed community hospital.
Mr. Murray did his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Business Administration, with concentrations in finance and real estate. He also studied international finance and African / Middle Eastern studies at Columbia University’s Graduate School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
Brad Townsend
Brad Townsend is a 25-year healthcare commercial executive with experience across a broad range of technologies and disease states.
Most recently, Brad worked at GE Healthcare where he held key leadership roles within Diagnostic Imaging, Patient Monitoring, Cardiology, Neurology, and Digital AI product franchises, growing the business by double digits while building strong commercial and service teams.
Prior to his role with GE Healthcare, Brad had a series of progressive commercial and operating leadership roles at Boston Scientific, St. Jude Medical, and Abbott across cardiology, cardiac rhythm management, heart failure, and electrophysiology.
Brad is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Brad and his wife, Karra, have two children and reside in Michigan. Outside of work, Brad enjoys golf, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
John Bartold
John brings over four decades of experience in understanding the relationships between people and businesses. His diverse career spans roles including commercial photographer, writer, salesperson, data analyst, business analyst, consultant, and executive positions– all driven by his dedication to continuous learning and helping others succeed.
At Maritz, John initially focused on strengthening employer-employee relationships, recognizing the crucial role of communication in organizational performance. His work later evolved to focus on customer relationships, coinciding with the emergence of pioneering loyalty programs. This shift leveraged emerging technologies to track customer activity, build detailed profiles, and drive targeted business outcomes.
In 1998, John joined Frequency Marketing, Inc. (FMI) where he met his longtime colleague and friend, Kelvin Taylor. Together, they introduced clients to sophisticated approaches to consumer data analysis and marketing strategy. Under their leadership, FMI became a category leader in loyalty marketing, leading to its acquisition by Alliance Data Systems in 2004 and integration with Epsilon Data Management. During John's tenure as Senior Vice President of Loyalty and Customer Experience, the loyalty business grew by over 450%, managing relationships with more than 500 million consumers across 50+ clients.
Now with Taylored Analytics, John helps clients leverage data insights to drive business results through both employee and customer engagement. Outside of work, he maintains his passion for photography and enjoys golf and road cycling. John holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Communications from Webster University, and remains committed to staying current with evolving technologies in data analysis and relationship building.
Kamron (Taylor) Melton
As the Global Director of Customer Success and Content Strategy at Taylored Analytics, Kamron (Taylor) Melton leads the charge in ensuring our clients’ success and satisfaction. With over a decade of experience in customer success, digital media strategy, and content development, Kamron drives initiatives that help banks, fintechs, and core providers unlock the full potential of their data infrastructure.
Kamron is passionate about creating seamless customer experiences by designing strategies that enhance onboarding, retention, and ROI. Under Kamron’s leadership, Taylored Analytics delivers transformative solutions, helping financial institutions break down data silos, ensure security, and achieve new levels of operational efficiency.
Outside of Taylored Analytics, Kamron serves as the Director of Customer Success Management at True Anthem and the Content Director for Therapy for Black Girls, showcasing a multifaceted commitment to innovation, empowerment, and delivering measurable results across industries.
